Should I be afraid of Anointing Oil?

 

"This sounds like a funny question, but to many people this is very serious. Especially to the people who are Catholic or who have Catholic parents. Throughout the entire history of the nation of Israel, all the Jewish people used Anointing Oil personally and on a daily basis. All the first Churches did the same thing. Every Christian used Anointing Oil personally, on a daily basis. Every Sunday they would take their Anointing Oil with them to Church, where the leaders would ask a blessing over it. Then they took it back home and Anointed themselves daily with it. Until that changed, somewhere in the ninth century."
